"Intrigued by undulating, curving shapes formed by vines overlapping, “Vine Trilogy” mosaic explores the vine as a metaphor for change and growth. The triptych employs both linear and random andamento, separating the vines from the background, along with the use of tonal color variations of glass to create depth and dimension. Applying different colored grouts in the shapes- blues, greens and grays, adds an additional level of tonal depth."
